Passing a rock along the trail.  This of course was not the rock featured on Reed's website.

At this point, Box Canyon Creek cascaded over rocks for about 40 feet in elevation.

There were still a few LARGE logs over the trail, where you had to crawl underneath or
climb over.  If any of these logs were present when during the Reed Encounter, it would
it would have been rough to do while carrying a 45lb alien and (guessing) 15lbs of
personal items.

Looking up on the mountainside at one of the few clearings.  This would be Box Ridge
looking north.  On the other side of Box Ridge is Mineral Creek and the Mineral Creek trail.
