Last Regular Season game at Safeco Field

 
Safeco Field and the Mariners lead the majors in attendance
for the second straight year.  This crowd broke the attendance
record by about 40,000 from last year, for a total of over
3,550,000.  My Oh My!

At game time, the seats are filling up.

The sun is slowly setting on the Mariners.  This is Edgar Martinez, batting in
the bottom of the 8th.  This may be Edgar's last at bat for the Mariners in
Safeco Field.  This is a pop up that reached the stands.  Next pitch he
grounded to the infield and was thrown out at first.
