The Lewis-Clark Center for the Arts and History.  This should
be the center of attention for the bicentennial of the famous
Lewis and Clark expedition.

View of the embankment that keeps the Clearwater River from
flooding downtown.  Before the Lower Granite Dam (below) completed
construction in 1978, some 20 miles downstream on the Snake River,
it wasn't needed.  Now US12 bypasses the city using the embankment.

Tour through downtown Lewiston continues.

Here's a website for a local ISP that has some info about
Lewiston.

Part of "old town" Lewiston

The embankment behind main street.  Most of the "corrosion" of
the embankment was natural.  All I can say is that I loved to play in
the dirt.  He he.

Looks like most of the Old Town building(s) are unoccupied.
